I've spent the last 3 months full time building a new sort of game in UEFN (Fortnite). I'm really happy to be pushing it to Early Access today! #FortniteCreative

There's an informal playtest tonight - 9pm eastern time - I'd love it if you gave it a go! It's free and I promise you will NOT BE BORED. To play, search this code in Fortnite: 6197-5922-3657
In Gamecraft S2E1, @blakeir and I discuss content vs. distribution innovation and its impact on value creation. I'm a bit of broken record on this topic, as Blake reminds me ... 🙄

@DevRelCallum I had it bad for 9 months last year. Turns out it was shoulder impingement from putting weight on my elbow by leaning on my work chair armrest all day. Took my arm off the armrest, did some daily stretching, a few weeks later it was all good.
@FreyaHolmer@tloch14 My high school physics teacher started by pointing his whole hand forward (x), then curling his middle finger (y), then pointing his thumb (z). It's burned in my brain. That said I love Freya's image and use it often.
@thejaymo Quake C felt like the Metaverse. You could join a random Quake server and it would load a custom mod that you didn't have to download ahead of time. Later, the general modding scene around early FPS games was huge. Entire worlds and loads of avatars to be scraped from FTPs.
@JensClaessens Yes, and some artists will avoid posting original work on sites that are targeted for scraping - like Artstation - because it will feel icky. This will further increase the density of AI art. It's similar to fake news sites and article paywalls devaluing Google search.
