The scourge of gun violence and political violence must end.
The shooting of Charlie Kirk is the latest incident of this chaos and it must stop. We cannot go down this road.
There is no place for it in America and we wish for his recovery.
🇺🇸 TURNING POINT PAYS TRIBUTE TO CHARLIE KIRK AFTER ASSASSINATION
Turning Point USA released a memorial honoring Charlie Kirk, praising his devotion to faith, family, and America.
Kirk said he wished to be remembered not for politics, but for his faith in Christ and vision of a spiritual revival among America’s youth.
Days before his murder, Kirk delivered his final public speech, witnessing to Christ before non-believers.
“Although Charlie is gone, his legacy will endure… None of us will ever forget him.”
Rest in peace, Charlie Kirk.

Charlie Kirk’s political value to the Republican Party cannot be overstated.
The GOP has lost one of its best organisers, writes @MoustacheClubUS👇 https://t.co/ot552wjO55
Charlie Kirk was a beautiful person. He died engaging his foes honorably. I truly hope he’s right about the universe and is receiving his reward. I’m beyond heartbroken for his lovely family—we must take care of them. Let’s live up to his example.
The assassination of Charlie Kirk is truly disturbing. I'm in shock. There should be no place for political violence in this country. This is not what America is about. We are better than this. Rest in Peace Charlie 🙏
The loudest cheer for the new iPhone 17 so far has been for the use of a square sensor so you don't have to rotate your iPhone to take a landscape selfie anymore
@therabbithole Per The Economist, "American Eagle's share price soared after it confirms that its ad campaign between Sydney Sweeney had been a roaring success."

"Today, every personality trait is seen as a problem to be solved. Anything too human—every habit, every eccentricity, every feeling that’s too strong—has to be labeled and explained. Therapy-speak has taken over our language. It is ruining how we talk about romance and relationships, narrowing how we think about hurt and suffering, and now, we are losing the words for who we are. Nobody has a personality anymore.
Actually, it’s worse than that. Now, we are being taught that our personalities are a disorder. According to a 2024 survey, 72 percent of Gen-Z girls said that 'mental health challenges are an important part of my identity.' Only 27 percent of boomer men said the same.
This is part of a deeper instinct in modern life to explain everything—psychologically, scientifically, evolutionarily. Everything about us is caused, categorized, and can be corrected. We talk in theories, frameworks, systems, structures, drives, motivations, and mechanisms. But in exchange for explanation, we lost mystery, romance, and lately, ourselves."
