@MElcoate @TrailRunningMag This already exists, sort of. The highway code states that in the situation you outline above if the pedestrians have started to cross they have priority, so cats should give way. Sadly I reckon a very small percentage of drivers know this and even less follow it!

Visited the @vertebratepublishing bookshop today intending to just buy one book. I came out with an armful! At least that's a lot of Christmas presents sorted.
Friendly staff, great range of books and I can confirm the dog is very friendly 👌

Absolutely awesome effort by Jasmin Paris who has just won #montanespinerace outright AND taken over 12 hrs off the overall record. 83hrs 12 mins for 268miles in winter is absolutely astounding, doubly so with a proper job, a 14month old baby & stopping to express milk
