China has sent around 1,300 air shipments containing dual-use components for drones and missiles to Iran’s Defense Ministry this year through the end of June, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday, citing Iranian customs data.

According to the report, one shipment arrived in Tehran as the US and Iran agreed to a temporary ceasefire on June 17 and Beijing publicly touted its efforts to help end the fighting.

🚨Defense Wins Championships🚨

When all else fails, America's homeland defense must hold strong.

Today, we're not ready.

Homeland infiltration, in particular by the Chinese Communist Party, is a massive and glaring danger that is unaddressed by any systemic solutions. The CCP are positioning assets and individuals around everything that matters so that on some dark day in world history, perhaps on the day when the PLA sails for Taiwan, they can cripple our ability to respond.

Over just 9 months, investigative reporter @LenczyckiPhilip has documented CCP pre-positioning at Whiteman AFB, Barksdale AFB, and now a CCP sniper next to the White House. What are we doing, here? Or more appropriately, what aren't we doing?

For starters, we're not living in the reality of the world of our adversaries. We must come to terms with a basic fact: America's open society is one of our greatest civilizational virtues. It is what links us to our Western ancestors who, across millenia, built the societal infrastructure and norms to protect individual freedom in a way that our adversaries despise. But at the same time, our primary adversaries view our openness as a primary vector for attack and exploitation. They do not play by our rules. They will openly say "you deserve it," when, due to our charity, openness or naivete, we allow adversaries to steal out IP and collect properties surrounding all our key assets. "It's your own fault, stupid Americans" is how they think. They mean to take us down. They think it's our fault for allowing it.

The CCP is setting up the infrastructure, logistics, and human networks to take us down. What is the through-line across the work of @LenczyckiPhilip and others like him? Well, there is the grit and relentlessness of the craft, but what message keeps coming through? The CCP is strategically positioning around everything we need to sustain our civil society along with the defense of ourselves and our allies. They're infiltrating assets up to and including the White House and key military bases. We are mitigating these threats ad hoc.

If they are provocative enough to put intel assets who are trained as snipers next to the White House, do you think there is any chance that hydroelectric dam isn't rigged to blow one way or another? That's child's play.

To return to the main point: Defense Wins Championships! In game 7 of the 1998 Eastern Conference Finals, Jordan's Bulls couldn't shoot for shit against the Indiana Pacers. Their offense was garbage: 38% from the field and 59% from the line. And what did Michael Jordan, the greatest offense weapon in NBA history, think of this offensive failure?

"So what? So what?...Our defense held strong. Defense wins championships. I think that was very obvious."

This is a lesson we Americans must learn, and quickly. Defense wins championships. Throughout American history, our homeland has rarely been contested. Now, it is thoroughly contested. We cannot win unless we majorly upgrade our defense. CCP united front orgs, industrial assets, PLA logistics, SNIPERS. They are spread across every corner of our society. They're preparing to cripple us at home so that we cannot win no matter how good our offense is abroad.

Our solution must be a whole-of-government response. We need much more resources dedicated to rooting out homeland threats. States must stand up in the fight (they are), and the feds must robustly back them (they're not).

The homeland fight requires new and broader intelligence tools, new federal investigative and enforcement authorities, new state investigative and enforcement authorities, new non-profits, new journalists, a strict adherence to civil rights and the rule of law, and most importantly: the will to fight.

We need systems. We need the federal government to keep doing it's homeland defense work, but double it. We need new state front-line defense infrastructure, much like what's being created in places like Texas and Nebraska, and then we need the feds to shovel intelligence and resources into state front-line teams.

We can win this fight. We just need to get in the fight in earnest. It has to happen now. Waiting until after the CCP moves to displace us in the Pacific is too late. And right now, the fight *for our own homeland* is severely under-resourced and undermanned. Political will can quickly change these facts. Or we can continue on the current path and go into Game 7 with an untested, unpracticed, and unprepared defense.
