The Rural Caucus of Arkansas' Disaster Recovery Team has been on the ground helping since the tornado emergency ended.

Arkansas' rural communities remains our focus, since they haven't gotten as much attention — nor as much immediate assistance — as Little Rock has.

Rural Caucus Chairman Steve Grappe will distribute the funds as needed. Steve and our other Disaster Recovery Team leaders are working closely with the Red Cross and local authorities in Pulaski County, Lonoke County, Wynne/Cross County, and Earle.

Still cannot believe I witnessed this tornado track through NLR. It became wrapped in rain but I could see the debris and we all knew what was happening.
