JUST IN: Samsung reveals plans to bring native stablecoin support, the first in smartphone giants.
Samsung says its Samsung Wallet will support new forms of digital value, including stablecoins, claiming the move will make it "one of the first major mobile brands" to do so.
The company also reportedly demonstrated a $USDC interface with send, receive and top-up functions, although no issuer partner was announced.
Samsung, the world’s largest smartphone maker, has more than 1 BILLION active devices worldwide.
I'm in talks with @UpholdInc , seems like reasonable people!
I am trying to reach out to @jespow@krakenfx and @Cryptocom_Exch and see if they would be willing to help with this extremely rare situation.
I don't expect they can help, because the problem is a liquidity problem, trading volume is hard to create if you're not a bad actor and do illegal wash trading. We don't have any bad actors in @EvernodeXRPL.
However, asking is always wise, I have personally sacrificed half my life for this industry, and I feel that my knowledge of it is good enough to ensure that supporting $EVR is well worth doing, no matter who or what you are.
If anyone here knows any exchange that could consider supporting this, then let me know.
A coin is only decentralized if it has a lot of CEX listings, otherwise you get too big chunks of it at too few exchange and that tends to end up with big, long-run issues that follows for decades.
Evernode got the best distribution in the world today, no coin has ever been close to the same distribution. I want to keep it that way, because it empowers us.
My experience roots back very far, I have never studied crypto, I've lived it. And I know what an organic movement is when I see one. We got that.
I have been coding on and of for over 20 years, I know some of the best coders in the world and I've been here forever. Evernode is special, it is IN FACT special, and it has a place in this world.
It might be a disruption, yes, but it won't go away. It is a public good that does well for the world, it protects democracy and freedom of speech.
It needs to find its place, it needs to find its supporters. The perfect opportunity to support has arrived.

👀Lending is upcoming on the XRPL.
A lot in the XRP community want to know what to look out for before using the Lending Protocol on XRPL to lend out their funds for passive income.
1) Ask where the yield is coming from? You need to understand how your yield is generated. If it's too complicated or risky, stay away from it. Keep it simple.
2) What is the reputation of the project you lend out your funds to? Make sure they have a solid track record, license and insurance in place.
3) Don't enter with big size or your life savings. Make sure you tip toe into this new feature, learn as you go.
Start small!
Many XRP community members were featured in today's DTCC promo video of tokenization and collaterals which, make no mistake, are massive use cases.
Utilizing blockchain rails to bring existing value onto the internet and then use it in DeFi like trading, loans and payments is literally the definition of the Internet of Value.
DTCC Day One: Complete
Today wasn't a demo. It was the first day tokenized DTC-custodied assets moved through live production trades — confirmed complete as of 1:15 PM ET, ~40 firms participating.
The full arc:
9:00 AM — J.P. Morgan tokenized Invesco QQQ Trust, one of the world's most liquid ETFs. First named asset, first proof the format holds.
9:45 AM — DTCC + Microsoft confirmed a Cloud First infrastructure partnership.
10:45 AM — J.P. Morgan used tokenized assets to satisfy CCP margin requirements directly with CME Group. Not format — utility. Collateral moved to cover a real obligation.
11:40 AM — SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) tokenized. The first ETF ever created, now with a digital twin.
12:00 PM — Nasdaq MarketSite displayed the milestone in Times Square.
By 1:00 PM — Treasury repo, Treasury buy/sell, equity buy/sell, cross-chain transfers, collateral pledges, and DVP transactions across both Treasuries and equities, all executed live using DTC-custodied tokenized assets.
None of this required the CLARITY Act.
It ran on a December 2025 SEC no-action letter, inside existing securities law, using assets already sitting in DTC's $114 trillion custody base.
October 2026 is the full launch.
Today was proof the plumbing works.

🚨 THE SEC JUST DROPPED ITS 2026 AGENDA.
And it’s a big shift for crypto and capital markets.
SEC Chair Paul Atkins laid out the agency’s priorities for the year. Here’s what matters:
• Provide clearer rules for crypto fundraising, custody, and the trading of tokenized securities.
• Simplify disclosure requirements to make it cheaper and easier for companies to go public.
• Retail investors may get access to investment opportunities that were limited to institutions.
Atkins said he wants the US to be “the crypto capital of the world” and to bring more companies back to public markets.
If these plans move forward, they could change how crypto is traded, how companies raise money, and who gets access to early-stage investments.
That would be a HUGE win crypto.
Everyone agrees on what better cross-border payments should look like. The real challenge is making it happen consistently, at scale.
Nasir Ahmed, Global Head of Swift Payments Scheme, discusses the impact central banks can have at translating global ambition into domestic delivery.

Spent my morning reading this recent speech from @SecScottBessent. It lays out a new and defining vision for America's role in the economy for the next 100 years. @elerianm calls it a "remarkably important speech."
Bessent organizes his vision around five principles. Principle 3 is, "America will write the rules of the next economy." He gives one example of what this means:
"Digital assets, stablecoins, tokenization, and new payment systems will help to shape the future of money. The United States should not consign itself to the sidelines while that future is built elsewhere."
If you've wondered how committed Washington is to making crypto succeed in the US, that tells you something.
The obvious unlock is bringing existing assets to trade on-chain around the clock.
The bigger one is the entire asset classes that traditional rails never built a market for, becoming accessible once the regulatory path is there.
