@ajlamesa I spent a week taking only public transit in Mexico City on my own with my 5 and 7 year old. So much more pleasant than the US experience even during rush hour.
Yesterday, at the International AIDS Conference (#AIDS2024) in Munich, we got one of those thrilling moments you hope for when attending a scientific conference -- but don't usually get!

@ajlamesa I think this is a great idea and wish there were both higher age limits and a commitment by governments and tech companies to developing high quality secure methods for age verification
Today is World AIDS Day and after 32 years of living with HIV, I’m blessed to still be here! I’m proud of the progress made in HIV/AIDS research, medication, and funding. We still have a long way to go for a cure and in the fight against stigma in all communities, especially in Black and brown. There is no place in this world for discrimination against those living with HIV/AIDS. #WorldAIDSDay
@khmayer1@michael_traeger @JuliaLMarcus @douglaskrakower Great article! Really like the shift from stigmatizing language around “risky behavior” to affirming positive impacts of PrEP use
#PrEP uptake is suboptimal. One problem is the difficulty providers have in supporting their patients' #sexual well-being. @michael_traeger @JuliaLMarcus @douglaskrakower and I discuss how to prioritize patients' experiences in this week's @LancetHIV
