@Velve_Tair little video to explain it better. even whenever the sclera are lightened to the exact luminosity of the original, it still looks off and makes him read as more purple/gray

@Velve_Tair on top of the sclera not having enough contrast with the piece, theyre also a more brown color. in the original frame, his sclera were tinted blue due to the background lighting. without that context he looks ashier because you lose the blue lighting and just read it as "shadow"
