"For the first half of this year, Melania Trump was doing everything in her power to get me to shut up. … That trophy-wife tyrant wanted me on my hands and knees begging forgiveness for something I hadn’t done wrong, and every refusal brought more pressure. I was told, more than once, that I needed to do what other people had done, retract and apologize, or risk losing everything."

How Trump Became Mob Boss of the United States

The most corrupt president in American history has been preparing his entire life to co-opt the government for personal gain

[Thomas Massie @RepThomasMassie]

Don’t worry, using taxpayer dollars to run ominous campaign ads of the President has been done before and is completely legal… in banana republics.

[Hillary Clinton @HillaryClinton]

Not content with the $2 billion he made last year and the $400 million in his super PAC, Trump is using your money to run pro-MAGA ads before the midterms. https://t.co/7agWzBr2HL

[Terry Moran 🇺🇸 @TerryMoran]

There is no precedent for the federal government taking an incumbent president’s actual campaign material, purchasing national TV airtime for it during a campaign, and putting “Paid for by the U.S. Government” at the end.

It’s wrong. It’s theft. It’s un-American.

[Scott MacFarlane @MacFarlaneNews]

They misspelled “Paid for by US taxpayers”

@alicialyttle Chat can't give me an eps file, color separations, hexcodes, font recommendations etc. all the things needed to go from digital to print. True artists use their knowlege and creativity in ways AI can't duplicate.

[LindaM @lindameza]

@alicialyttle As someone who uses Chat daily, that's an oversimplifcation of the creative process. Yes, I created my avatar with Chat, I even used it to help build concept logos for a np I volunteer for.

I mean it's harder to build a tribe these days, and lord knows the platform is innundated with garbage but I was on Twitter (2009) before it became X and Im not ready to just chuck it all

[LindaM @lindameza]

@Support some sex bot has taken over my profile. I’ve been on Twitter since 2009 and my name has always been the same.

COMMENTARY: Let’s say it plainly: There has never been a president as corrupt as Donald Trump.

There is no close second in our history.
