Use mm/dd/yyyy without the”/“. Month and/or day can be a single digit;
mddyyyy or mmdyyyy or mdyyyy.
A palindrome is the same frontwards and backwards.

@mathwithdoyle Teacher is wrong ! Pen with simple cross-outs for minor errors is much better than pencil and erasures. The teacher is probably not certified in math.
