Gov tech and tech at large are rough right now.
I’m a design generalist with over 20 years of impact, and lately I’ve been receiving a wall of “unfortunately” emails. I wrote about this reality, the work I’ve done, and where I can help in a recent post.

@sojunky 100% this album was written on Fasttracker II https://t.co/od0qcljX8M
Sine then I'm still using a tracker to sequence all my music in a program called Renoise https://t.co/VQambQLUo0
@Ask_Spectrum I was impacted by hurricane Helene and am very disappointed in lack of communication around the status of internet. No updates! This is a public utility.
I wrote another thing. This time it’s about the intersection of focus styles, accessibility and design systems. Thanks to everyone that has shared or liked the article. It’s giving me confidence to write more. ✌️ https://t.co/wc5oH2wh9x
It's been a long time coming... my new album Secret acid world is out today on most major platforms. Thanks to the folks who stuck around and are supporting and listening

Something I’ve been trying to do over the last 2 years is write more. I’ve got a new blog post up about building stakeholder relationships.

@bdf2 So true. It’s part of the work! I like to think of it as an accessible product strives to work for all while an inaccessible product works for some.
but I’m finding more an more that is not necessarily the norm.
Moral of the story: don’t discredit or diminish your knowledge of something you may feel is simple.
CSS : an engineering story.
I’m always shocked when working with engineers that hate CSS or don’t know how to write It. I’m shocked because Ive often figured that if an engineer knows JS, React, .Net, etc... they they certainly can work with something like CSS
With 7 weeks left in the school year can’t we just keep the kids doing remote learning. So much pressure to resume and catch up when things still aren’t normal.
