Tell me you don't actually work in courtrooms without just admitting it.

I've been yelled at plenty -- in fact, an article was published four days ago quoting me as recounting an event where federal judge who was formerly a colleague yelled at me when I was still a prosecutor.

Same judge yelled at me more recently when I was a defense attorney.

But there are rules of decorum that exist even for Judges - the motion to recuse cities to the Local Rules of the D.C. District Court, then holds up Judge Reye's conduct to the language of those rules.

The DOJ attorney before her in the hearing last week where she was screaming knew the subject-matter far better than Judge Reyes, having worked for DOJ in the Section that has the subject-matter expertise for 17 years.

Reyes has a deep-seeded antipathy towards the Trump Admin. as she was one of the leading opponents litigating against Trump Admin. crackdown on illegal immigration in the first term.

She was also just reversed by the Supreme Court on the Trump Admin. ending Haitian TPS, and the DOW ban on transgender members of the active duty military.

Mayor Gregory Doucet came to see the damage in the city center, and police had to stand between the two men.

Yesterday, masked rioters smashed and looted shop after shop and burned the city's historic tourism office to the ground.

Some shop owners stood in their doorways with baseball bats because that was the only protection they had.

Lyon made just 20 ARRESTS.

This is what happens when leftists run a city. The rioters walk, and the shop owners clean up the glass.

Paris: Before the Invasion

In 2010, I lived in the Netherlands. Paris was only three hours away from my house. That year, I went there with my family to attend a conference, to see the Tour de France, and then to visit Disneyland Paris.

I made these sketches of the Grand Palais, the Eiffel Tower, and Notre-Dame on that trip. I sat down with my daughter, and we each made our own watercolors of these views, sitting peacefully for between one and two hours each.

We stayed in a small but nice hotel room near the conference and everything else. My wife went shopping with my daughter along the boulevards.

My daughter and I ate as many French baguettes as we could handle. They were delicious.

The streets were clean. The people were well-dressed. There was no homelessness or vagrancy that we could see anywhere.

It was safe.

That is what the people of France gave up when they decided not to intervene when their government failed to protect the country’s borders from an invasion.

My last trip to Paris was nothing like the visit in 2010. I prefer not to think of Paris that way. It has become a distorted, monstrous perversion of what it was.
