I previously built and ran a business with over $10M in annual revenue.
Here, I study businesses that already have paying customers, with a focus on AI: what they sell, why people pay, and how the business sustains itself.
Where revenue and customer data are publicly available, I look at revenue, paying customers, and growth. I distinguish verified facts from reported claims and my own assessment, and flag what remains unknown.
I also lead the small team behind Brew, a calm iPhone reader for RSS, newsletters, podcasts, and more: https://t.co/hLEFBi7bl5.
Made a Brew product clip with Codex + Blender + Seedance 2.0.
Locked framing and camera on a white model in Blender first, then generated with Seedance. Detail control got better.
Big frames hold up. Phone text and fingers still break.
Still learning.
@rakibxzs@X Hey — we ran a SaaS business past $10M/yr. Now focused on Brew (iPhone reader for newsletters / RSS / podcasts). Happy to connect 🙂 More on my profile if you want a look.
@AdamMalherbe@X The big SaaS came with a large team, government stuff, lots of B2B clients, and high cost. A reader looks small — if it works, it might not stay small.
@rsalimx 15M+ views a month on relationship slideshows, zero ad spend. That format is cheap enough that organic often beats early app ad budgets.
Its so cool!😆
@tibo_maker About $15k new MRR turned away from supplements, gambling, trading, NSFW. One bad-fit customer on shared warmed accounts can wipe the pool for everyone else.
GoMotion launched July 2026. TrustMRR (Stripe, synced 2026-10-28): $64,428 MRR, 1,376 active subs, $77,703 last 30 days (+75%), $140,292 all-time.

Paste a script, get a YouTube-ready documentary: voiceover, sentence-matched footage, captions, graphics, music. Site says a 15-minute video usually takes 30–60 minutes.
https://t.co/bulAAazNzB
Plans on TrustMRR: Creator $27, Studio $59, Agency $107 / month, credit-billed. Legal page: 120 credits per 15-minute export. Creator = 1,440 credits/month ≈ twelve 15-min videos ≈ $2.25 each at list. ~$47 revenue per active sub. Buyers: faceless channels and agencies.
https://t.co/ekPVAl6KSS
Crowded lane: short-form faceless tools, other AI video apps, DFY channel services. GoMotion’s cut is long form, 15–60+ min, sentence-level footage. Same buyer pool.
TrustMRR locks profit %. Privacy policy: RunPod for render, AI vendor for scripts. Footage from public web; Terms say they don’t clear rights for publishers. This looks like a compose pipeline, not full generative long video. Public RunPod rates + cheap TTS/LLM assumptions put variable cost per 15-min export roughly $0.3–$1.5. Against ~$2.25 list, that is a wide gross-margin band around 30%–85%. High end if credits go unused and the stack stays lean; low end if GPU sits idle, jobs re-render, or TTS is pricey. Wage, ads, Stripe fees, legal: not in that band. Exact margin is not public.
Verified: people pay; last-30-day cash sits near MRR. Not verified: retention, cost per render, how YouTube treats these channels.
