@JSheltzer Instead of asking for a ready-made solution, ask them to surface tough problems in your work and sketch possible fixes. The candidate who actually does the homework on your paper is the one you want.
Honoured to have delivered the Chemistry Asian Journal Lecture Award at FORCE IICS 2025 🔬✨ Grateful to the organizers and the @ChemAsianJ team for this recognition. Engaging discussions and inspiring science throughout! #ChemicalBiology#MedicinalChemistry#FORCE2025
Delightful to see our paper on lysine-selective modifier probes in @CellRepPhysSci made it to the collection of the best chemical biology published so far in CRPS. https://t.co/hsBduLnCmf
Congratulations to @sonatiwari1212 and others!
Congrats to @VRAdoesMS and @joann_chong!! 🥳🥂The paper is officially online now @J_ASMS: https://t.co/zMBTa6Zuv2
Also, check out this really awesome cover art 😍
🥳A bit of good news today before the chaos begins (or continues?) -- Our paper was published today @JProteomeRes! Big congrats to @joann_chong along with co-authors @VRAdoesMS, @keira_erol, and @TarynMLucas!
Check it out here: https://t.co/rPjksuE3gH
Hey there, O-glyco enthusiasts! Do you use PNGaseF before your glycoproteomics runs? If so, you might want to check for "free" N-glycans hanging around in your sample. Check out @VRAdoesMS and @joann_chong's new preprint: 10.26434/chemrxiv-2024-568nn
My meager education in biology and evolution gave me the mistaken impression that evolution optimized everything. But it didn't.
One example is the recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN). It goes from behind your ear, loops down below your aorta, and then back up to the voice-box

So honored to share that @proxbio was one of the 23 awardees (out of 1700+ applicants!) for the @ARPA_H#SprintForWomensHealth!
This $3M grant will support our team as we advance next-gen proximity therapeutics for high value undruggable targets in the women’s cancer space towards the clinic.
Dedicating this work to my incredible mother, Suzanne Cognetta. I began working on cancer therapeutics after she was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time and I realized that despite being in one of the best chemical biology labs in the world, I was powerless to help her.
Hopefully our work here will be a big step towards changing that for all the women and mothers in the world.
Delighted to share one of the first projects of our lab, @sonatiwari1212 applied the HSAB principle on isatoic anhydrides to drive lysine selective modification in proteins, in @CellRepPhysSci@CellPressNews.
Kudos to all, and thanks to @SharathChM!

A genie gives you two new cancer drugs. One drug will receive FDA approval while the other will fail in clinical testing.
The genie challenges you to identify the drug that will succeed in the future. You can perform one experiment on each drug - what experiment do you choose?
Excited to share our story on polymerization in ZBTB transcription factors, which was published in the July 11 issue of @MolecularCell! https://t.co/qlzxfF0PR4 1/n
We are #hiring! We have an open #postdoctoral position in my group with the focus on structural biology #cryoEM and X-ray crystallography of new #E3 ligases as well as #molecularglue complexes. @UniBonn@IsbBonn
https://t.co/SYxOT8RwCi Please RT!
We have been blown away by all the wonderful messages that we have received in response to our symposium! Thank you! It means a lot to all of us that our delegates had a fantastic time in Dundee and have left inspired to push forward the frontiers of TPD research!

ChemCrow is out today in @NatMachIntell! ChemCrow is an agent that uses chem tools and a cloud-based robotic lab for open-ended chem tasks. It’s been a journey to get to publication and I’d like to share some history about it. It started back in 2022. 1/8
Thrilled to announce @VechalapuSai work published in @iScience_CP@CellPress
Part 1. Iron complex programs Apoptosis in cancer cells
Congratulations and thanks to @Appu_IITK@BioMeDHs for the support.

What’s the best system for generating inducible CRISPR knockouts in a mouse xenograft?
My lab hasn’t had great results with dox-Cas9 due to leaky expression and incomplete induction…
