After our stream waste spill last week, thankfully all wildlife intact! Mummy moorhen on her nest (at least 2 eggs). The heron- after the eggs - is a frequent visitor, but shooed away. Mr (or Mrs) Foxy out for a long while on bank today. Lovely to watch.

@philipmould Hi Philip. Have you come across any works (other than the etchings in Brit Mus) by Charles Stonhouse (1807-83)? RA exhibitor 1833-65. I have acquired a pic, unsigned, with this on back. 2 RA pic titles 'could' be this, if indeed his work. Can find no info on him.

@waitrose What a joke. Reported twice instore and nothing done, and twice despite leaving details not been contacted. I don't inspect juvenile, rude and misogynistic behaviour from your staff as, what I should be considered, a valued customer.
