@FixNOLA If you are afraid of the possibility that 2/3 of your colleagues could find you guilty of gross misconduct... and then that you wouldn't be able to survive a hearing before the Supreme Court, you are the problem.
This late-March news report covers the new investigation into two Orleans Parish Juvenile Court judges and how their failures led to multiple deaths. Thankfully, the LA Supreme Court finally ordered a legitimate investigation. Not a peep from city leaders. #lalege#lagov
Another person calling for accountability for the doctors who participated in the staged accident scheme.
The Louisiana State Board of Medical of Examiners - we are waiting.
SB207 would increase the time limit to 10 years for prosecution of public corruption crimes committed by elected officials or public employees. It passed the Senate 24-12. Every Orleans senator voted against it. #lalege
My own investigation was hindered by my lack of authority over judges, who are part of the judicial branch of government and subject to its own disciplinary system. We have murder victims that prove this is a broken system. We owe it to their families and to the citizens of our State, as well as future visitors, to fix it. #lalege
👏 SB123 passed the Senate 27-11 and moves on to the House. Great work, Sen. @JayJaymorris3! Shame on all 4 Orleans senators (Barthelemy, Carter, Duplessis, and Harris) for voting against it. #lalege
If the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners refuses to investigate the physicians that participated in the staged accidents, then the board itself should be investigated.
🚨 BREAKING: SB123 has been filed. A proposed constitutional amendment which would provide for suspension and removal procedures against malfeasant district attorneys and judges. Huge thank you to Sen. @JayJaymorris3! 👏 Major bill for New Orleans. #lalege https://t.co/fUMM88Gzmq
Cumbersome and broken city processes chase out legitimate businesses while unlicensed vendors proliferate. How did @CityOfNOLA governing priorities get so twisted?

NOPD got him on a 95e, the drug dealer law, where you have guns + drugs at same time. Serious and has a mandatory 5-15 years, no probation. DA accepted that charge. Reduced it and all the PWID charges and gave him probation in May.
Whether you agreed with him or not, Charlie Kirk is dead purely because some people didn't like what he had to say. That should outrage every single one of us.
Shouldn’t @NOLACityCouncil, mayoral & council candidates call on this disaster of a mayor to resign? All run on “accountability,” yet public statements reflect anything but.

Unfortunately, toxic empathy is alive and well among New Orleans politicians, too. Fuels disorder, erodes quality of life, and does a disservice to the lawbreaker in the long run.
Mayoral candidates promise "accountability." But after all of the chaos and public safety threats stemming from the mismanagement of the jail, are they calling on Sheriff Hutson to resign? Seems like an easy call to make. Were they asked that question? Here's a mashup.
Newell: Sheriff Hutson is the one who ought to be let out of Orleans Parish jail. After turning the facility into an international joke, a r https://t.co/bAjwJB55sB via @https://x.com/wwlamfm
An important question given the constant problems in the DA’s office. It was unanswered. @HelenaMorenoLA, what letter grade would you give the DA? As mayor, how can you help hold the DA accountable? Do you support DA accountability legislation as other states have? #lalege
