@EastMidRailway your 13:02 from liverpool southparkway to nottingham is absolutely horrific conditions. But your train conductor is absolutely amazing considering the working conditions you have given him
Townsend - real world bispecific antibody UK data, 3L+ DLBCL
• whole cohort 40% ORR and 24% CMR
• in trial eligible pts, CMR > 40% which is encouraging.
• pt selection crucial - better with lower PS & if receive 2 cycles
• PFS worse if prior benda < 6mo

Huge congratulations to Amir Fathi for delivering one of the most impactful plenary presentations @ASH_hematology in AML in past decade. The PARADIGM study may lead to a Paradigm shift- Aza/Ven > intensive chemo in newly Dx high-risk AML. 👏👏👏
Next Reid Merryman presents multicentre phase 2 trial of Rituximab (as cytoreduction) + Epcoras 1L for high tumor burden FL 1y PFS 97% , no G2 CRS in those receiving 3 step up doses of Epcor. Interedting Qs how much of this imrpoved CRS is ritux how much is extra step up dosing?
Falchi et al presenting MITHIC FL2 trial Mosunetuzumab + Zanubrutinib ORR 92%, median f/u 6.5 months. Good safety profile, no G3 CRS. Hypothesising addition of BTKi mitigating ?reversing T cell exhaustion which is key to bispecific resistance. Great start to my day 2 at ASH!
Did you know that a red cell:
1. Travels at ~4.8–6.3 km/h (walking speed) on average, with bursts up to 15 inches/second in the aorta
2. Completes a full circulation cycle in ~60 seconds
3. Completes ~172,800 loops and travels ~300 miles during its 120-day lifespan
2025 edition of the Cantera just started in Lyon…20 rising stars in the lymphoma field coached by a great coach Gilles Salles @EHA_Hematology @filonlus #lymsm
Competition ratios are terrible.
Your UKRDC passed the following policy:
"This committee resolves to prioritise lobbying for a method of UK graduate prioritisation for speciality training applications and on the issue of training bottlenecks during this session." (1/2)
The UK Lymphoma Research group has faced its challenges with the demise of the NCRI. Huge progress made however with very active groups delivering important studies. A bright future for 🇬🇧 lymphoma research. @HT_Medical
