@condonTUS Sonic was great fun and probably my favourite, and I love the designs and world of Detective Pikachu, even if the story and acting wasn't great. Warcraft was decent, the orc parts were well done. Also kinda like the early 90s Mario movie, it's at least a memorable movie.
@Marchtotheshop Good few things I'm looking forward to off the top of my head, Elden Ring, Gran Turismo 7, Bayonetta 3, Splatoon 3, Horizon 2 and the 3D Kirby game. Also hope that new Sonic game is good, but we'll see with that one.
@warmcocoaandco1 Left 4 Dead 2 with mods is a lot of fun, so many possible characters to add in as well as extra maps, and there's even fun ways to change up the gameplay too.
What's been the worst or one of the worst games that you've experienced? Absolute worst would be tough for me, but Devil May Cry 2 was the easily the most hilariously awful game I've played in years...just cannot get over the helicopter boss fight...like what is this #tusgamers21
@Marchtotheshop I'd love a new 3D Sonic game that focuses on momentum based platforming. I've always liked the series and wanted it to succeed, and I feel a 3D game that focuses on that style would be very welcome. Some fan games have done a great job with this, like Sonic Utopia or GT.
@condonTUS I feel these sorts of games live and die by how the devs manage them. In the case of games like Minecraft and Fortnite, they add substantial new content and keep the games fresh with consistent new modes or gameplay additions, to prevent them suffering from stagnation.
Is there any game or series you feel is underrated? My pick would be the Gravity Rush games, as they have a great sense of style and are a lot of fun to play, I love their jazz infused soundtracks and the combat is really unique and engaging. #tusgamers21
@warmcocoaandco1 Didn't play Detroit, but I'm sure it had plenty of good elements outside of the narrative. Hated Beyond Two Souls from the same devs though, and I can't say I'm looking forward to their recently announced Star Wars game either.
@condonTUS Actually played through Bounty Hunter on PS5 recently, was good fun if a bit jank at times, also very difficult in spots. Very cool to have an entire game where you play as a Fett though, a modern version or something new in that vein would be sick
@condonTUS The X-Men Origins game was way better than it had any right being, especially considering how shite that movie was. Genuinely great fun, very bloody and violent, and it had some fun boss fights too.
@Marchtotheshop Game monetisation will probably get worse and we'll continue to get unfinished products from companies like Activision, EA and Ubisoft, because they can "finish it later." Even Nintendo does this a bit now. That said, indies will still thrive, and some AAA stuff will be great.

It's so hard to pick a single song, but one my mind often goes to in this regard is the main theme of a game called Asura's Wrath. It's such a powerful piece of music, yet it also has a real sombre side to it. Definitely one of my absolute favourites.
Lot of quality remakes and re-releases here, just a few of my favourites over the last year. What remakes or re-releases do you want to see? I'd love to see the PS2 Ratchet & Clank games on PS5, and also more old Metroid games on Switch. #tusgamers21
@condonTUS Psychonauts 2 is one that comes to mind at the moment for me. The use of colour is stellar and the environments are very creative and original. Very psychedelic and out there, but in a good way. Easily one of the best games this year.
@Marchtotheshop One I've recently been playing is Tearaway on the PS Vita and it has this lovely arts and crafts aesthetic, but it also makes great use of the vita's features as the game incorporates the player into its world in some really inventive ways. Really charming.
Started playing Pokemon Shining Pearl on the Switch and it's enjoyable if not the most refined of remakes, but its very nostalgic and cosy. What games have you been playing recently? #tusgamers21
@warmcocoaandco1 Could see myself end up chaotic neutral in that scenario, would definitely try my best to stay on good terms with the people I trust, but in an unpredictable world, who knows what could sway my opinion at that point...
@condonTUS Returnal should have been nominated for Goty imo, probs over Ratchet or Deathloop, that game was excellent. Also less sponsorship and advertising would be cool, it's more of a show for commercials than awarding the best.
