@takingiteasy62@AvaSantina You cannot offer a higher rate taxpayer 20% relief on the contribution when they pay 40% to draw it.
A superior model would be to do away with tax relief and allow tax free withdrawals in retirement, an employer sponsored ISA - this would immediately save the treasury £50b pa
@SteveKim323 Uniformity needed, not sure fighters having to hold their weight overnight (or dare I say it melt a little bit off on fight day) is the answer though. If they don’t make check weight are the commission supposed to call it off on fight day?
@MonteroOnBoxing WTF I know this dude is an MMA guy but geeez anyone ever heard of weight classes?!
And he’s getting PAID to cover the sport, the mind literally boggles

Then a year later you bought a Rolex for 140k and sold it for 155k, profit would be 15k
Because it’s only separated by one day and it’s the same item in this example it’s confusing you
@RickGagne394052@LeeGrovesBoxing Genuine question how does that work?
So if fighter is over on fight night you want him to take the excess off before jumping in the ring?
Or you cancel the fight when all the fans and everyone is already at ringside?
@Iamthestrang@LeeGrovesBoxing How does that work if fighter is out of the country?
Plus this would lead to fighters going through several mini cuts before the final one, that’s not good on fight week.
Finally what happens if they miss, gonna pull the fight? what about the fans who have paid for flights ?
