Very close, but Lizard still better price!

[Lizard @LizardBuild]

@itsnourasaif @Railway @AWS Not yet, but we can discuss it

[Lizard @LizardBuild]

You can cut a $2,960 Postgres bill to $837 by running the same databases on Lizard

https://t.co/SXAJAAmwNB

10 managed Postgres databases, 2 vCPU / 8 GB / 50 GB each, CPU busy 10% of the month:

> Lizard $837
> @Railway $915
> @AWS RDS $999
> Google Cloud SQL $1,097
> Render $1,147
> @Supabase $1,175
> @Azure $1,357
> Crunchy Bridge $1,450
> Aiven $1,949
> @heroku $2,000
> https://t.co/CbvrRARYFB $2,960

Lizard bills the CPU your database actually uses. Fixed instances bill 3 a.m. like 3 p.m. First week free

[Lizard @LizardBuild]

@kalapowered @Railway @AWS that's the beauty of dynamic usage - you pay only for what you actually use

[Lizard @LizardBuild]

@arjendevos @Railway @AWS Backups included and replicas too
sharding is coming

[Lizard @LizardBuild]

@neilchor @Railway @AWS you are always welcome!

[Lizard @LizardBuild]

@izadoesdev @UbicloudHQ @namespacelabs @useblacksmith We know how to cut costs

[Lizard @LizardBuild]

You can cut a $1,800 CI bill to $81 by running the same builds on Lizard

https://t.co/fSiTqixZUb

300,000 CI minutes a month (1,000 ten-minute builds a day):
> Lizard $81
>@UbicloudHQ $375
> @namespacelabs $600
> @useblacksmith $1,200
> GitHub Actions $1,800
> CircleCI $1,800
> Depot $1,800
> Buildkite $2,400
> @gitlab $3,000

2 vCPU / 4 GB runners at $0.00027/min. First week free, then $19 a month covers 70,000 build minutes

[Lizard @LizardBuild]

@Se7en_aj @UbicloudHQ @namespacelabs @useblacksmith If you don’t need 8gb ram it’s fine, or you still can get 2 machines and pay less

[Lizard @LizardBuild]

@techpoto @UbicloudHQ @namespacelabs @useblacksmith Invisible hand of the market

[Lizard @LizardBuild]

@phosphenq Yeah, but we don’t want all devs fired from the industry, right?

[Lizard @LizardBuild]

You can drop Coolify, skip the 900 vibe-coded lines and still pay less than Railway

One dev ripped out 150,000 lines of PHP for 900 of his own. Coolify's creator replied that someone still has to maintain them

https://t.co/0pU2FtVZgt

Lizard does everything on his list, and you maintain none of it:
> push to GitHub, it redeploys
> builds on our servers, no local Docker
> managed Postgres and Redis next to the app
> your agent can deploy through the CLI

Usage-based and under Railway on every rate. One app on 1 vCPU and 2 GB, running all month:
> Lizard $36.52
> Railway $40.00

What people don't realize about the $6.3B Binance hack

It started on one DevOps engineer's laptop. Hours later, a fake Claude Code extension hit up to 5,000 Cursor users

https://t.co/h366LIXH37

Lizard runs untrusted code in a throwaway microVM, far away from your keys:

> boots in 228 ms
> 10 minutes on Lizard: $0.0027
> same box on Modal: $0.0397

$6.3 billion vs $0.0027. Your call

@SovrenGo thats what lizard for

[Lizard @LizardBuild]

@NathanFlurry if they are not isolated

[Lizard @LizardBuild]

What people don't realize: a separate sandbox doesn't mean a separate CPU

OpenAI's agents had no internet, no network and no shared files. They still found a way to signal each other through the hardware underneath

How isolation actually stacks up:
> container: shared kernel, the easiest wall to climb
> microVM: its own kernel, that's every Lizard sandbox
> dedicated node: no neighbors on your CPU

https://t.co/XHnVVGNNsH

Most agent workloads are fine on the middle layer. If yours are the kind that go looking for side channels, Lizard Enterprise runs them on dedicated nodes.

[Tornado guy @fanofaliens]

>two agents in separate sandboxes
>no internet
>no network
>no shared files
>openai: "ok now try to talk"

and they talk through the CPU cache 💀

[Lizard @LizardBuild]

@mindragon @insforge thx 🦎

[Lizard @LizardBuild]

Lizard vs InstaBox (@insforge), $10,000 each. Closest race we've run so far

Same small sandbox on both, 2 vCPU / 4 GB with 5 GB disk:
> Lizard $0.0162/h, disk included: 617,284 h
> InstaBox $0.017/h + $0.00055/h disk: 569,801 h

https://t.co/djAz7YWRZ7

InstaBox costs 8% more per hour. On a $10k budget that's 47,483 sandbox hours you don't get, enough to run 16 agents 8 hours a day for a whole year

Both bill per second and both run real VMs with their own kernel, so price is where they split. Pause a Lizard sandbox and compute stops billing
