@thatfrood always remember:
good things happen to people like me because we deserve them. bad things happen to people like me because weโre being tested.
good things happen to The Other because they are cheating. bad things happen to The Other because they deserve it.
citizen! having weighed your case carefully for like 5 seconds this tribunal of your peers finds you wack as hell bro, a crime for which the penalty is death. have you any last words
@nostrsjstchess are you sure it's not the ironic monkey-paw twist? i also have this problem, every time someone says "dang you have long fingers" i'm like "lol bass"
@nostrsjstchess both parents played cello and my aged friend played violin and trumpet and his older bro played standup and piano and clarinet. heavenly sounds, great vibes
@nostrsjstchess playing music with family. the ultimate dream ๐ฅบ my next door neighbors when we lived in rural va were these mennonites (but like the more modernist kind not the funny bonnets and horses kind, though they went to the same church?) and every weekend they'd play
@nostrsjstchess yeah man my hs bestie's granddad died and he found a near-mint rhodes in his attic when his family was clearing it out and it was the first keyed instrument i'd played since i was 6 and it is probably responsible for me becoming a synth sicko long term lol
@nostrsjstchess make instrument so the faithful may praise god on the go instead of having to take pilgrimage 5mile (3yr trip and obnoxious stories to last a lifetime) to the next town over
instrument becomes defining sound of neo-pagan folk music 300 years later
welp
@nostrsjstchess speaking of ye olde musica things i think about too often, lots of instruments in the church power era were attempts at making organs portable/affordable, because that was like The Perfect Instrument to them. coincidentally, easiest instrument to make on an FM synth
