@itvMLshow keeping up with the top accounts for savers etc, my bank keep flagging my transfers for fraud. It’s getting a bit frustrating, what can I do to avoid/not seem like I’m sending all my money to scammers?

@GeorgeMcNally54 @n00dles71 Likewise. I don’t live there but obviously do visit sometimes, and as an active cyclist I tend to prefer to get a rental bike than take the packed tube to visit places. I’ve actively rejected jobs in London because the commute would do my nut!

@GeorgeMcNally54 @n00dles71 Don’t advocate jumping lights but I was saying just the same thing in London after getting a bit peeved paying for best part of an hours ride time that was a 32 minute moving time the rest stopped. Hire cars aren’t usually charged per minute, so stopped time is less of a thing.

@limebike when will you enforce parking that mean this can’t happen, when I’ve used bikes in London, the app has made me re-park even when I’m in a designated space based on a pic, but why not MK. No chance for a wheelchair to get through and annoying on my bike to go round.

@thetinysambo I read something about this that the socks were too tight for their calves and cutting off the circulation. In my day of playing football socks were so loose you had to tape them up so must be by design.

@64BrianP @AngleseyScMedia Friend has a 2yr old VW EV and would get roughly 100 miles on a half hour charge so would need 6 charges. Mway services are extortionate. I’m not anti EVs but it’s not right to say it’s as good for regular long trip drivers. Only a few cars do 350kw charge and they aren’t cheap!

@AngleseyScMedia The time issue is always glossed over. Some people value theirs! Mine is a PHEV so local trips I can do on E and charge on the drive, but for long range trippers who do national activities off the beaten track the car range and charge infra isn’t there yet.

@AngleseyScMedia This weekend I have done 300mile outbound with 1x 20min stop, 4hr activity (no EV infra there) then back again with a single 20min stop. It was 9.5hrs driving as it was. Where does charge time fit? These sort of trips are common. Charging needs to match fueling time to go full EV

I am way faster on my normal bikes but I use an e-bike to ride to work as I carry heavy stuff and don’t want to be sweaty nor ride in the aggressive position of a racer. I can do more than the max power of the motor on my own for quite some time. It’s about being easy!

@gazza_d Ppplying London-centric logic to the entire country where it makes no sense to those not on the capital’s overpopulated roads. Deliveroo throttle bikes are a menace and would like to see more done, but Doris riding to the shops in Bishop Stortford doesn’t need an ID tabard

@jakerossi23 @cyclingweekly Except if you are on your own at Xmas, or just a couple who both ride. It can give you something to do. If it’s not for you that’s fine but I don’t get the vitriol it gets. It will suit some and not others just like every single Strava challenge etc.

@thetinysambo A university special was the triple carb threat of lasagne, chips and garlic bread. Did have a weedy little side salad but basically was just yellow, yet vastly appreciated as your only meal on a long day on a big event.

@JazzJargon Clear whey isolate is much better than the milky shakes. Reflex mango is particularly good.

@themikejervis @awjre The EU limit in many countries is 130kph/~82mph, so limiting would need to cover this also. 85 would prevent super crazy speeds whilst allowing brief accelerations to pull out and settle on the continent.
