Directorate of Health Services, Manipur issued notifications for different courses in different nursing colleges on 17th July, 2023. When the Kuki-Zo community have no access to Imphal and the lone airport of the state, the examination centres are notified as Imphal and Guwahati, Assam.

This very notification is not only inconsiderate but also exposed the step-motherly treatment upon the Kuki-Zo tribals of Manipur.

Manipur government must stop this hypocrisy and admit that the Kuki-Zo tribals have been driven out and forced to be separated.
