basketball is so chaotic. refs either call fouls when players breathe on each other or never call fouls when there’s pushing and shoving. and this could be the same refs within the same game, and against both teams. they say consistency is key, but refs don’t have that key

This is the severe thunderstorm that produced widespread tree and power line damage in parts of Homewood, Vestavia Hills, Hoover, and Mountain Brook shortly after midnight. Radar suggests the damage was due to straight line winds; NWS survey teams will review the damage today to see if a small tornado was involved. We have heard of no injuries.
