A truly awesome afternoon birding at Worth Marshes in Kent today. Eleonora's Falcon put on a staggering show zipping over the heads of the gathered crowd at one point. The stunning fem Ref-footed Falcon had to take a back seat and relegated to third place were 100+ Red Kites!

One from Dover Road in Walmer that you could easily miss: a flame fougasse sunk into the wall with exposed nozzles. There was one opposite as well (since demolished). Installed summer 1940, targeting enemy vehicles using the A258 @WeHaveWaysPod
