@premierleague Genuine query🤔 During game Salah had a shot saved by Schmeichel but was then clattered to the ground. Ball in play, late tackle, foul. Why isn't this a foul in the penalty area? Just because it would mean a penalty the ball must now be under player's control?

@SkySportsPL Ball in play, contact without playing the ball would likely result in foul elsewhere on pitch, don't like it being a penalty, but if the ball was already out of play different matter. There's a lot of talk about where the ball is going. Irrelevant according to rules.
