I saw a protest women and young girls were doing in Paris. They were encouraging women to bleed everywhere. On the bus seats, train, restaurants, liters everywhere that men also frequent to advocate for free sanitary pads. Till it starts inconveniencing them, they won’t create a budget for it.

in 2019 a $400,000 house cost you $1,900 a month.. today that same house costs $2,800 a month.. same walls.. same roof.. same neighborhood.. $900 more a month for nothing..

an entire generation did everything right.. went to college.. got the job.. saved the down payment.. and the finish line moved every time they got close..

your parents bought a house on one salary.. you can't buy one on two.. and nobody in charge thinks that's a problem worth solving.. because the people making the rules already own the house.

this isn't about the money.. this is about the word "negligent".. a jury just legally confirmed that these apps were DESIGNED to be addictive.. not accidentally addictive.. designed..

the infinite scroll.. the push notifications at 2am.. the dopamine loops.. the "suggested for you" rabbit holes.. a jury just said all of that was intentional.. and harmful.. and Meta knew..

there are millions of kids who grew up the same way.. same apps.. same addiction.. same damage.. and now there's legal precedent..
