@kimmonismus They'll probably start rolling it into ChatGPT/Codex both for their internal browser, and an extension browser that youc an better user to browse it.
@ForwardEditor Take a picture. Find out where it says. Whenever you need to tell Codex to check pictures, just tell it to check the latest picture/screenshot, and where it's found.
@VoidStateKate Well if it's something that can be done in a browser, just tell it to either use the inline browser, or extension connector (Edge/Chrome). But yeah computer use, it gets mad at me a lot for hitting escape when I'm doing something.
There was one codex update last night, and another one today. Nothing in the change log, or that i see on X. Looking forward to seeing what they are doing.
🚨 THIS IS GOING TO BREAK THE INTERNET!
Elon Musk just dropped Neuralink's craziest bombshell:
“In the next 6 to 12 months, we're going to implant the first vision devices. Even if you're 100% blind from birth, we're going to write directly to your visual cortex… and you're going to see.”
“And that's just the beginning. In the long term, you'll have ultra-HD resolution and real superpowers: you'll see in infrared, ultraviolet, and even radar. Literally like a superhero.”
The future is no longer science fiction. It's Neuralink.
@alexgetmancom I'm going to guess that he "forgot" intentionally. He posted they were going to come back, a lot of people requested that they do not come back, then he "Forgot". I don't expect they'll add it back at this point. I think they decided not to (hopefully).
@charles_maddock Everything bypasses usage limits. Codex doesn't had stop you from continuing active threads when limits run out. So if you are at 5%, and start 4-6-7 threads using Ultra, and do complex threads/goals or just long, they'll finish all threads after it hits 0%.
@ersteuomo@argofowl Yeah, that's weird. I get a lot different experience. But there has to be an explanation, or perhaps it's still another usage bug that only affects certain people. What account type do you have again? Plus, pro? 100/200?
@ersteuomo@argofowl Uxnan is also designed for multiple agents and multi-step work flows, so perhaps it's something in their system causing the extra usage burn. Go here, and see what it shows: ~/.uxnan/metrics.json - Then run /status inside codex afterward. Let me know what happens on both.
@ersteuomo@argofowl If you are using it on Low, with it NOT being in fast mode, then there's no reason I can think of why it would be burning fast. Even on Medium it takes forever to work through percentage. I can work all day long on multiple different threads, all throughout the day and no issues
@ersteuomo@argofowl What are you running?
1. If you are running "Fast mode" it drains an entire 2.5 times faster on the usage. Which means 250% more usage than normal. Always use normal.
2. Use your reasoning level set to Medium most of the time, unless there's a valid reason for extra process
@rezoundous No one wants it. it's a stupid feature that no one ever asked for or wanted. I went to see that post and saw hundreds of people complaining about that one thing. Hopefully they listen.
@davis7 Human nature, by default, wants the "best of the best". So when multiple things launch, everyone tries to go for the best thing, without realizing (or paying attention to the fact) that each one has their own strengths and purposes.
