They tell you that the future is for AI to take your data, to give up and not fight windmills, and they also tell you that everything that humanity has given you decades ago, has to be taken off the internet.
Do you see the goal?, Don't give up 👇

Mesh2Motion is an awesome, stupidly easy to use, FREE and open source 3D animation tool... it's basically open source Mixamo.
Even better, it keeps constantly improving!

I am begging the 3D industry: can we please, please stop calling these DirectX and OpenGL. These are left- and right-handed tangent space normal maps.
DirectX and OpenGL are graphics APIs. They do not determine your coordinate system or tangent orientation/handedness.
Introducing CozyBlanket Pro
A next-generation mesh optimization and cleanup toolkit, built from the ground up with AI-assisted retopology, cutting-edge UV tools, and powerful tool system to transform complex geometry into clean, efficient, production-ready assets.
Finally I agree with Jensen. If AI boosts the productivity of an engineer by 3x, and you don't need to pay them any more salary, then you certainly want to hire more. Engineers are more valuable right now. You need top tier engineers to design the architecture. AI leans on that.
A researcher found critical Windows zero-days.
Reported them to Microsoft.
Microsoft denied the bug bounty.
Deleted their account.
Banned them from GitHub.
Then threatened criminal charges.
The researcher dropped six zero-days in six weeks.
Three got used in real attacks within days.
Other researchers are now handing them free vulnerabilities as a gift.
Microsoft’s Digital Crimes Unit is considering legal action.
Against the person whose bugs they refused to pay for.
This is Microsoft’s bug bounty program.
Easy to make a tangled mess with AI if you don't do architecture design yourself. Verify after each change that the AI didn't cripple your architecture. AI implements code fast, but architecture degenerates into a spaghetti if not supervised. You can't let AI be the boss.
Similar techniques still used. Especially on terrains. Difference is that instead of multiplying by singing texture, developers use multi-layered approach that:
Remove tiling entirely
Scales detail level based on distance
Adds detail on much bigger level
This very well doc...
sin instalador de 20 GB, sin precompilar shaders, un solo ejecutable de 200 mb, totalmente open source, 60 fps sin inmutarse en una macbook M1. godot señoras y señores. un invento ARGENTINO.
Casually rendering ~a hundred million triangles, in the browser.
All thanks to @sea3dformat's cool Nanite-style renderer for @threejs.
I've added GLB-to-meshlet and PBR rendering to it, very exciting to see where this is going!
Seems that I need 20 minutes describing the problem before I can even start describing the solution.
But people are still calling DX12, Vulkan and WebGPU as "modern APIs", so I need to explain all the hardware complexity that lead to this design and why we don't need it anymore.
🔥 Microsoft has always been the most greedy with the worst operating system in human history...
🚨 Right now, I have more bad news for you
💀 You'll not only have spyware, you'll have AI software slop
 Linux is no longer optional

@DHuskytron Misinformation is what interests them; they are not interested in accurate, raw and real information.
The system feeds on dreams, keeping the masses asleep for as long as possible.
🧠 Extremes always justify abuse and sacrifice, Does anyone remember the false gods and ancient sacrifices?
🫀 Why did ancient humans think they could shape the world through human sacrifice?
☠️ Those priests thought that in the name of God, they could do whatever they wanted
Not true. The Anti AI folks are a wide range going from moderate left all the way to moderate right.
And it's the extremes on both sides who are supporting and abusing this tech to advance their malfeasant goals.
