@anisenot My thinking is that sometimes those in polite society, families who seem like they have it all together, wealth, a known family name, are seriously lacking harmony under the surface.
Sometimes I'm ashamed of the amount of sleep I require to feel great, but then I realize everyone has a different baseline, and I just know how good it feels to be truly well-rested (8-10hours of sleep)
@peachsweet_tea I have glute dysphoria. Sometimes I feel I have a giant ass that needs to be reigned in, and other times I wake up and think there's never been anyone flatter.
A girl I knew in high school died from fentanyl. I didn't like her much because she had a crush on a guy I dated for two months. She would message him and flirt with him while we were together. I wasn't intimidated, just very confused.
It was pretty sad when she died because she had a little baby by then, and I wasn't nice to her. I wasn't unjustly mean, but I did tend to treat her like she didnt exist because it was so weird, and I felt like she was acting out, and I wasn't going to give her the satisfaction of my emotion. I do remember hearing rumors that she did hard drugs, but I didnt really think much about it until after her death.
@somaobscura just talked with someone about how living life as a healthy body is a different reality. Most people don't deny this, but many deny they can work to access it.
On a bike ride with my son, crossing paths with another mother on a bike ride with her son, both of us yelling for them to “keep right,” and then smiling at one another.
♥️
@abysstoabyss I won’t talk about it, but I will also keep tabs on the people irl who are very vocal about their support.
I was very removed from it until a former classmate, who is a teacher's aide at the school, voiced loud support and shared certain thoughts on social media.
