Where can I purchase your individual EPs,
@thenbhd
? Is there somewhere to purchase a CD or digital (FLAC preferably) copy of the EPs "To Imagine," "Hard," and "Ever Changing?" A Bandcamp page or similar would be great.
It's that time of year again. #TheFrontBottoms are in #Seattle at the Paramount. Check out the line. People have been camped out since 5am for some reason.
@JoJoFromJerz Definitely wrt sport hunting. The American black bear is on the endangered list too. I would imagine there's not a huge abundance in Canada to allow this either.
@Miz__Amanda @KIRO7Seattle I think it's more about proximity to resources and, like you said, how the local government deals. I see less/ little homeless activity in Renton as a result compared to Seattle.
@ogdenhix Pretty easy recipe.. shredded chicken, chicken broth, canellini beans, garlic, onion, green chilies, cilantro, cream cheese, a splash of lime, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper. I started it with a pretty thin roux.
@franksamuel369@BakerProbert@brynpotter3 @PeterHranek @KING5Seattle You really kinda of did.. plus both "reasons" are invalid. On a related note, if you actually looked into why the teachers are striking, you'd see it's more to increase the quality of their students' education rather than to increase their pay.
@PeterHranek @franksamuel369@BakerProbert@brynpotter3@KING5Seattle The even sadder part is that he probably doesn't even have children that attend school in the Kent district. And if he does, it just shows that he's teaching his children to completely devalue and disrespect their educators.
@franksamuel369@BakerProbert@brynpotter3 @PeterHranek @KING5Seattle Outside of class activities: 300+ hours grading, 40+ hours communications, 100+ summer hours on development, 140+ hours classroom planning.. Easily a full time job with part-time pay.
@brynpotter3@BakerProbert@franksamuel369 @PeterHranek @KING5Seattle That's a fallacy. The average teacher works at least 2200+ hours despite the typical 180 day contact. At least make an attempt at accounting for reality
@franksamuel369@BakerProbert@brynpotter3 @PeterHranek @KING5Seattle So, first your argument was that they get paid more. Now that we've established that it costs more to live here, your argument is "don't live there. " Way to move the goal posts. When you figure out a cogent argument, let us know.
@franksamuel369@BakerProbert@brynpotter3 @PeterHranek @KING5Seattle You're conveniently ignoring the fact that cost of living / cost of housing is close to double the national average in Seattle/Renton/Kent. But, facts hurt, huh?
