Ring camera footage of the Eaton Fire as it ravaged entire neighborhoods. This gives you a good view of how easily and rapidly the fire spread. Embers travel far out from the main fire, causing exponential spread.

Particularly Dangerous Situation Red Flag Warning conditions late Monday into Tuesday for the Santa Ana wind corridor of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. This event has the potential to be as strong as the November 5th-6th Santa Ana event that led to the Mountain Fire.
Strike Team XLA-1075A released from the #MountainFire this morning. It was a challenging few days for our firefighters battling this wind driven fire and seeing the devastation it caused to the Camarillo community.
Our strong Santa Ana wind event is underway this AM. The forecast remains on track for a *very serious* fire weather event. Gusty winds and very dry conditions are expected through THU with lingering dryness and lighter winds on FRI. MAKE SURE YOU ARE PREPARED!! #CAwx
Firefighters responded to bystander reports that a man jumped in the flowing water in pursuit of his dog. Crews responded to several bridges and access points down river and located the canine, who had managed to swim safely to the edge and escape the rapids. LAFD Air Ops lowered a rescuer into the water, who was able to grab the patient, who was still conscious. They were hoisted into the aircraft, and transported to the local hospital by air. His dog was taken to a local shelter for temporary care for minor injuries.
