That’s all I use these days (unless it’s a hysterectomy…although I still use it sometimes). Great manipulator.

@delararitchie @joyi1014 @sadikah6 I rarely prescribe opioids postop. I TAP block everyone w exparel and 0.25% bupivacaine. Between TAP block and scheduled Tylenol and ibuprofen, most of my patients require nothing further for postop pain management (even hysterectomies)

I use liposomal bupivicaine...and reimbursement is a hit-or-miss. It doesn’t add on a lot of OR time and so worth it, in my opinion.

Full #peritonectomy. Also agree re: pathologists. I have 2 pathologists that I work closely with (have their cell phone numbers) and will take deeper sections and extra stains if initial specimens are “negative” for #endometriosis.
