I said this before and I will say it again for the sake of clarity. When our protest broke out,The GenZ protest,that is in june- july 2024,There were solid issues at hand that were to be addressed that weren’t. Ruto didnt know how to or where he would start. He was implicated both ways.

In understanding so,the only approach Ruto could do was brush it off as a paid non organic protest. Just like samia did in Tanzania,and just Sheikh Hasna the Bangladesh Prime minister did before she was defeated and fled to India. This is when Ruto decides to label us,as Terrorists.

But he realized this label,and ignoring us,wouldnt stick for long. The GenZs we were very intentional with our demands,Reject financebill and Ruto must go. To control the narrative,he first had to create his own enemy,This is when People like Sudi started recording videos with terms like “Wamunyoro” insinuating that all the trouble the Rutos government was expiriencing was being sponsored by Rigathi gachagua. Remember,all this time,Gachagua is silent.

In doing so,slowly but strategically,this strips away legitimacy from genZ and siphons it to gachagua. Dont forget even at this moment,Gachagua had already lost his ‘Kingpin’ name in mount kenya. We wanted nothing to do with him.

So Ruto,by making Gachagua his enemy,and attacking his tribe,he slowly returned Gachagua to his initial position and strips any legitimacy the GenZ protesters had.

This is the politics Ruto loves. He is not attacking Gachagua in church because he’s dangerous,infact,if Ruto had ignored gachagua after impeaching him,Rigathis flame would have died a natural death. You guys know this! Gachagua is nothing!

But he kept attacking him on and again. By doing this he gives him sympathy from his tribesmen. And Gachagua is only getting crowds because Ruto attacks him,people assume he’s dangerous. Because if he wasn’t why would Ruto be attacking him,right?

Rutos contigency plan,to escape the wrath the GenZs brought him,was/is gachagua. He is forging him to be his Opposition. One that he can handle

ABOUT KENYAS UPCOMING PROTEST. Lets set a few things clear. That university students cannot protest alone,nobody is going to listen to them,Lecturers cannot protest alone,Doctors cannot protest alone,Civil servants with 9 months unpaid salaries cannot protest alone,Teachers cannot protest alone,Unemployed youths cant protest alone.

To have a fruitful outcome from a protest,All of us must come together as Kenyans. Because its one government that is causing all this,a government that has clearly failed.

We must have a structural agenda,that embodys all our needs as kenyans. From high cost of living,to Unchecked budgeted corruption,to delayed salaries because 92% of tax collected is going to service external debt that never benefited us. This way,the transitional government that will take over from the abolished one,will have a clear blueprint on what nail to hit first and why.

And remember,when a democratically elected government becomes ineffective and fails to meet its objectives,it is the mandate of the people to abolish it and institute one that is effective. Let us grab our gears!
