A new handler??.

I'm not familiar with this "handwriting"

[Babajide Sanwo-Olu @jidesanwoolu]

We were out at the Olusosun dumpsite to inspect our waste management operations firsthand.

I know the collection delays across Lagos over the past few weeks have been frustrating and seeing waste piled up is unacceptable. We are taking direct action to fix this.

We are leveling and expanding access roads at our five major dumpsites so trucks can dump and turn around without delay.

We have ordered 160 new compactors to strengthen our fleet and our development partners are bringing in extra heavy-duty equipment.

We are restructuring LAWMA to ensure stricter oversight on the ground and we are working with the PSP operators to clean up their operations and ensure only capable and committed teams are on our roads.

Looking slightly ahead, we are constructing two major Transfer Loading Stations at Olusosun and Solous 3, alongside Material Recovery Facilities in Epe and Badagry to modernize how we sort and recycle waste long-term.

We are fixing the system from the ground up but keeping Lagos clean requires effort from all of us. Indiscriminate dumping on our streets will not be tolerated and environmental enforcement officers will arrest and prosecute offenders.

We are on it and you will see the difference soon.

Rabies kills. Period.

⚠️ Once symptoms show, there’s no cure.
But the good news? Rabies is 100% preventable if you act fast after a bite or scratch.

Here’s the post-exposure rabies vaccine (PEP) protocol every pet owner should know 👇🏽

To that, LUPAN is adding that the industry is already producing at <30% of installed capacity due to unchecked influx of imported finished lubricants. Also, stating that 200,000 jobs could be affected.

Dem still dey discuss, sha OR maybe I never get new update.

[KINGKESH of Osun @lordkesh15]

Late June, reports came out from the FG through @NMDPRA_Official that it will commence the issuance of licenses for the importation of lubricants into the country.
LUPAN has come out to say "No - this does not align with the RENEWED HOPE mantra of the present administration.
