The Sun is not static, it wobbles near but never at the centre of the Solar System. The orbit of the Earth around the Sun is also not a perfect circle, but elliptical.

Nothing is perfectly regular, equidistant through time, and stable in the Solar System, so why should the climate be unchanging?
