@SADVlLLAIN No seriously. How do you remember the movie worse than me when I've only seen it once?
Do you seriously not remember him trying to get away from her and telling her to "go away"?
i'm at that part in tlj where luke tosses the lightsaber over his shoulder and its so funny to me how badly this scene was misunderstood by alleged sw fans like how do you not get that it's making the point that the jedi are not reducible to something as material as a lightsaber
@SADVlLLAIN I've seen this movie ONCE and even I remember that.
You're soneone who actively defends the film and you have very basic things about it wrong.
How does that even happen?
@SADVlLLAIN He's not trying to "redefine" the Jedi to Rae the second they meet. The moment he finds out she's force sensitive and wants to train he starts dismissing her and trying to get her to leave.
After she persists, he eventually claims he thinks the Jedi should "die".
Absolutely wild how saying "I don't think this guy who spoke at college campuses deserved to be assassinated" and "I hope his family is ok" is enough to get you you in hot water with people.
@papacummum@bbbbbbbbbbrady Idk that looks quite a bit like the Nick Fury suit. It's bad because it's Daredevil, not because it's aesthetically awful.
Hottest fucking take ever, I actually think the base Flash suit is horrendous looking. In comics and animation it's dull and in live action it's so ugly.
@papacummum@bbbbbbbbbbrady Idk... I can't get over how dumb the Spider-Man eyes look when connected to a strap like a pair of goggles. Could've just used NVGs and been fine, given him more of a Splinter Cell look.
Esp. since Spider-Man is supposed to be incognito here.
@Nitemanprod@bbbbbbbbbbrady Actually, I hate it. As we all know Spider-Man possesses the speed-force and is bullet proof anyway, so why would he wear armor?
@bbbbbbbbbbrady Almost looks like a police officer Spider-Man. I kinda fw it. Although the face us a little mismatched.
I'd add a tactical harmess (the kind paratroopers use) then make the mask a more solid looking faceplate.
As a casual fan of Arthurian legends I can tell you that Arthur pulling the sword of kings from the stone is not comparable to Rey Palpatine Skywalker backflip saber slashing the wing off of an "interceptor" a ship so fast it's meant to catch other ships.
Rise of Skywalker is possibly the worst mainstream Hollywood movie ever made and your criticism is "uuhhh how come that kid could pull the sword out of the stone when all those strong guys couldn't."
"It's no worse than The Phantom Menace" is wild.
Most of what people don't like about Phantom Menace is some mild pacing issues and poor dialogue. TROS is a sewer tornado that disguised itself as a script.
TROS is so over-hated. “The worst mainstream Hollywood movie ever made” ??
The plot is dumb but there are some really great things in this film. It’s no worse than The Phantom Menace.
You cannot say this earnestly when the entire pokemon community had a public meltdown when Popplio evolved & had a dress & became a mermaid instead of being a big buff circus clown otter. There is absolutely a layer of misoginy in the conmunity when it comes to feminine starters.
