Scott James Soucek, a 57-year-old resident of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, was sentenced to three years in prison followed by lifetime state supervision on May 27, 2026, after pleading no contest to multiple child pornography charges.

Soucek is a die-hard MAGAt and was married to Stephanie Soucek, the chairwoman of the Republican Party of Door County and a Wisconsin delegate at the 2024 Republican National Convention. They have since divorced.

Soucek was arrested in July 2025 following an investigation into illegal network activity. Law enforcement linked his IP address to the upload and download of more than 300 illicit images on the BitTorrent peer-to-peer file-sharing network.

He initially faced 10 felony counts of possession of child pornography but accepted a plea deal, pleading no contest to three counts while the remaining seven counts were dismissed but read into the record for sentencing considerations.

During this recentinvestigation, law enforcement discovered internal records showing that investigators had previously interviewed Soucek in July 2009. Court documents noted that while Soucek admitted to downloading child pornography in 2009, the case was never referred to the County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution—a gap that current investigators stated "remains unclear". he was married to Stephanie Soucek, the chairwoman of the Republican Party of Door County and a Wisconsin delegate at the 2024 Republican National Convention.
