Lindor: "It’s going to be a fun season. It’s going to go back to our motto: Underrated and then all of a sudden, everybody loves Cleveland. ... I’m excited. I can’t wait to show the world what we have in our city. I’m looking forward to it. I love telling doubters to shut up."
This was true after 3-way deal, but more true after dealing Alonso: Now less pressure for Indians to move 1 of their starters due to financial needs. If they still wish to move one, deals can be motivated by return, as they should be. Or, should they choose, they could keep them.
@patrick_mayhorn@TonyGerdeman Doesn’t matter how “poorly” they’ve played all year. A ONE loss season is an incredible year for any program, including OSU.
The weirdest part about this Warriors drama is that 2 years ago Draymond called KD from the parking lot immediately after losing Game 7 begging him to come to the Warriors
@Buster_ESPN If the Indians sold out every game, the best they could do is 11th in attendance bc of stadium size. I’d call a 25% attendance increase (+ big $ from their top TV ratings) as a win. Sure, might not spend big this offseason, but that wasn’t the point you made in this tweet.
