@MovieRebecca @TheUrbanFlaneur We already have at least two more Rebeccas. If you go back and read the reviews for the 1997 version, for example, it was very well received. I think the main problem with this one was simply that it’s not very good. That simple. It’s hard to get good reviews for a subpar film.
@armiehammer Nope. Because those are both myths: contrary to popular belief, alligators and crocodiles have finite sizes and lifespans. No immortal 100 feet ones out there.
@MovieRebecca @TheUrbanFlaneur All the major outlets are ”meh” at best, but sure, there is a bit more of a mix when you take all of them into account. 50% fresh at Rotten tomatoes right now with 32 reviews counted, down from 56% this morning when there were only 9. But maybe the audience will like it better!
@MovieRebecca @TheUrbanFlaneur This is the only review I’ve read that’s this positive of Armie’s performance. I wouldn’t hold my breath for awards, unfortunately.
@elemental_pea@armiehammer I’m sure the motel is great, but pardon me for being slightly more interested in Rebecca. Maybe Ashton is the guy to call for insights on the films? 😂
@BdeLSV @ChrisEverette6 @Alethea_Aggiuq @KevinTPorter@LAFoodBank Whales and seals are different kinds of animals, and the Färö islands are not arctic or inhabited by inuit people. You seem very confused.
@armiehammer Also, ”international collaboration” is evidently anathema to him in general. Whether it’s climate or trade or health or anything else. America alone.
