People often think being blessed is all about having money, but true blessings go far beyond wealth. If you’re healthy, can breathe freely, move without pain, think clearly, and wake up each day with another opportunity to grow, you already have so much to be grateful for. Sometimes, the greatest blessings are the ones we take for granted.
Sit down and have an introspection exercise. Be ruthlessly honest about who you are, where you are going and how you feel about it. Now list out all the values and principles you want to live by. This will be your new identity. Your goal is to come as close to this as you can.
Intelligence is highly pluralistic. People can have high levels of it in one domain (maths, abstract reasoning) while being deficient in other domains (ethics, social interaction). When one kind of intelligence gets heavily socially valorised among all others, it encourages the arrogant assumption that this form of intelligence is dominant across all domains. We’ve been living with these distortions for some time with respect to the valorisation of quantitative and formal reasoning.
For everyone who feels tired, discouraged, or overwhelmed, may God renew your strength today. May He give you courage to continue, patience to wait, and faith to believe again. When your strength is not enough, may His grace carry you; when you feel like giving up, may He remind you how far you have already come. May this day bring renewed hope and fresh strength. Amen.
They never fucking knew what they had in front of them. That’s what you need to understand. When they brushed you off, rejected you, betrayed you, or pushed you until walking away became the only sane option, they thought they were losing somebody ordinary.
They knew there was something about you though. They could feel it. You’d enter a room and the whole atmosphere changed, people opened up around you, told you things they’d been carrying for years, and somehow walked away feeling better than when they arrived. Funny how people will drink from your well and still question whether there’s water in it.
That’s why some of them stayed around longer than they deserved to. They liked what your presence did for them. The calm, the advice, the understanding, the energy. They enjoyed the medicine while disrespecting the fucking pharmacy.
What they didn’t know was how much weight your life actually carries. They had no idea how serious your purpose was, and truthfully, you probably didn’t fully know either. That came later.
I believe the rejection had a job. So did the betrayal. So did being forced to leave people you swore you’d never leave. All of it kept hammering the same lesson into you until you finally got it, stop asking other people to confirm your worth.
You needed time alone, fam. Not because you were being punished, but because you were too used to hearing everybody else over yourself. Take away the applause, the opinions, the relationships, the constant noise, and eventually you’re left sitting with the one person you kept avoiding.
🫵
That isolation taught you something company never could. You learnt who you were when nobody was clapping, checking on you, choosing you or telling you what you wanted to hear. That shit hurts, but fuck me, it makes you dangerous in the best way because now rejection can’t control you like it used to.
And the mad part? Some of the people who tried to break you accidentally trained you. Every betrayal sharpened your judgement. Every rejection thickened your skin. Every time somebody underestimated you, they gave you another reason to stop living off their opinion.
I’m speaking to someone here.
You know there’s something you’re supposed to do with your life because the thought won’t leave you the fuck alone. You can distract yourself, doubt it, laugh it off, bury it under work, relationships and everyday bullshit, and somehow it keeps crawling back into your mind.
Pay attention to that.
Stop grieving people who couldn’t recognise what you hadn’t fully recognised in yourself yet. They played their part. Some people were never meant to understand you, they were meant to make you understand yourself.
You can feel there’s more coming.
And I don’t think the best part has even started yet.
I randomly keep testing the Withdraw Option on my NSSF App because I know nothing is impossible in this country. One day like this I know I will succeed
@PatrickAyota: Member satisfaction rose to 89%, while the average benefits payment turnaround time fell to 4.5 days. Members should feel our progress in the service they receive.
In its first 20 months, Smartlife Flexi recorded more than UGX 180 billion in voluntary contributions, a sign of what becomes possible when saving fits the way people earn. #AMM2026
Money has come! The Minister @mofpedU, Hon. Henry Musasizi has declared a 22.53% interest rate for FY 2025/26, adding UGX 5.44 trillion in interest to members’ savings. That’s your money working harder for your future.
NSSF declares over 20% in interest & you think your "rolex guys makes more than office guy" jazz is going to move someone to leave their 400k government day time job that gives them allowances & huge cheap loans from the office SACCO while putting in 30% effort?
It is wise to give people just enough credit to massage their ego, but never enough trust to blind yourself. Operate with prudence: Appeal to their honor but secure your own terms. Flatter their decisions while being careful of the incentives. Be open to cooperation yet be careful of defection. Everything is contingent on how human nature operates.
Even the devil has no use for a lazy man. That’s the uncomfortable part.
Whether you chase money, status, power, or God, laziness will still leave you stuck. You can pray until midnight, but you cannot pray your way out of every responsibility.
Work. Learn. Show up. Build. But here’s the difference: The world may reward your hustle with money and still leave your soul homeless.
Christ gives you something money cannot buy: peace, purpose, and fullness of life.
"...And you have been given full life in union with Jesus. He is supreme over every spiritual ruler and authority." (Colossians 2:10)
So work hard. Not because you worship success. Work because you serve Christ. And please... don't blame spiritual warfare for a problem that is actually your alarm clock.
I asked myself what beauty I could show you that you didn’t already know, when to my mind there was no distinction between you and beauty, and then it struck me: I will bring out the best in you. I will show you who you were always meant to be, and who you can become. No longer shall you be a guest in the palace of your own heart - I will show you exactly how I see you - I will introduce you to yourself.
As you go up the levels of competence you realize you can crush it at almost anything you put your mind on.
Especially with AI tools and extra capital to deploy on hiring staff.
But learning to say no and super focus on your main project is the difference between winning massively and scattering your powers.
Understand this and prosper.
Contribute genuinely to every room you are placed in and watch how your reputation builds itself without you having to manufacture it.
People feel the difference between someone who is performing contribution and someone who is actually invested in the outcome.
One is doing enough to be seen. The other is doing what needs to be done because they actually care. And that difference, invisible as it seems in the moment, accumulates over time into the kind of trust, respect and influence that no amount of self promotion could ever replicate.
Show up for the work, for the people and for the outcome like it genuinely matters to you. Because in the rooms that count, that is always the thing that gets remembered.
