I know this isn’t an airport etc etc, and I’ll be sticking around here a while yet…
But I’m also posting very similar content over in the other place:

Really great video on a AT&T Long Lines bunker built in 1962 for the high reliability long distance circuits the government used. Wonderfully preserved and apparently some active equipment still housed there today.
@TheRealVonHorst@MPSHeritage@Pastpreservers@MPSTooting Not a lot, just a desk, chair, and some heating/lighting.
I think the inside was mostly used for a policeman to take a statement from a victim/witness, or they could double as a short term holding cell.

@puncwatch@marrolds_phones@frederific https://t.co/gnFtInOHW8 seems to suggest some (many? all?) were later retrofitted with tone callers, reversing them back to a more standard arrangement.
@puncwatch@marrolds_phones@frederific BR statesmen were special I think. As well as the logo, I think they were fitted with bells instead of the standard tone ringers weren’t they?
Thanks again @LOOKMUMNOCMPUTR for the warm welcome yesterday at @NotObsoleteKent! It was a blast and I’m glad the Minitels found a nice home where people can experience it! https://t.co/hS1zF0H8L6

Took me far too long to get around to editing this, but this was last weeks THG members swapmeet at unicorn kiosks.
Not the largest swapmeet ever, but very enjoyable and I always love visiting unicorn.. their yard is just so pretty!
