And the way he does it is what makes the video worth it.

He does not teach the five as a list. He tells them as one story, where each equation is born from the one before it. F equals ma leads into gravity. Merckx courait contre des amateurs européens, moins de 100 au départ (!) des grands tours et il était un des seuls à s'être professionnalisé un peu ( médicalement...) et régnait en chef de mafia. En 2024, ce sont des pelotons de 176 coureurs tous au plus haut rang professionnels des 5 continents et à la pointe, sélectionnés sur des centaines d'autres.
J'ai interviewé Mariano Martinez 3ème du mondial de Montréal derrière Eddy et Poulidor, meilleur grimpeur du Tour, père de Miguel et Grand Père de Lenny.

Mariano Martinez en bref

Né à Burgos (Espagne), le 20 septembre 1948 (75 ans) - 1m70, 60 kilos. Espagnol d'origine, naturalisé français en 1963. Il s’est installé dans la Nièvre. Son frère Martin a également été coureur cycliste professionnel. Mariano est le père de Miguel mais aussi de Yannick Martinez, professionnel aussi de 2012 à 2018. Mariano totalise 101 victoires routes chez les amateurs entre 1963 et 1970. Puis il a été 11 ans professionnel, de 1971 à 1981. Embauché comme équipier tout d’abord de Joaquim Agostinho notamment, son palmarès comptenéanmoins deux étapes du Tour de France pour lequel il a été sacré meilleur grimpeur en 1978. Il a fini trois fois dans le top 10 (6ème en 1972 8ème en 1974 et 10ème en 1978) et brillé sur toutes les courses réputées françaises et suisses. Autre fait de gloire, sa médaille de bronze à Montréal auchampionnat du monde sur route en 1974 derrière Merckx et Poulidor. A la fin de sa carrière professionnelle, tout en ayant monté un magasin de cycles à Fourchambault, il a continué une sacré carrière amateure ( Ex : 36 victoires à 37 ans en 1èrecatégorie) jusqu’à ses 54 ans avec aussi deux titres titre de Champion de France des vétérans. « Puis je suis tombé et me suis cassé des os, c’est aussi bien comme ça, beaucoup qui ont continué vieux sont morts ». Il a couru avec Miguel jeune. Il s’est reconverti en boursicotant et dans l’investissement immobilier. Sa retraite pour ses années vélos est de 300 €uros.

Trust your technique. Stay patient. Even if the mucosa bleeds a little or feels slightly adherent, find your plane and follow it. At the apex, progressively release the mucosa while continuously visualizing and respecting your landmarks. Define your margins, stay in the same plane, and before dividing the bladder neck, ensure meticulous hemostasis and confirm that the prostate has been completely released.

In a routine case, 30 minutes may be enough—but don’t chase the clock.
The results will come with time—and only with time.
