After pushing through a massive 33% dilution on existing investors, at a time when many holders are already sitting on losses of 99% or more casper-network:native , you’d expect #Casper to focus on restoring trust and credibility. Instead, the controversy just keeps growing. The price continues to slide, and more issues keep surfacing.

Recently, Michael Steuer @mssteuer , President & CTO of the Casper Association @Casper_Network , was asked four simple and direct questions regarding credible on-chain evidence pointing to potential bot and Sybil manipulation during the 2026 Hackathon.

His response was disappointing, to say the least. Rather than addressing the concerns, he brushed them off as “AI mumbo-jumbo,” joked about creating an “empire of bots” to move pocket change and control a thermostat, then abruptly left the Telegram group. No factual answers, no willingness to engage with the evidence, just sarcasm and mentions of Swiss lawyers waiting in the background.

For the top technical executive of the project, this kind of reaction feels incredibly unprofessional. When legitimate transparency concerns are met with deflection instead of clear answers, it says a lot about the current culture and leadership surrounding the project.
