Biggest take aways from AFCCG:
Stidham was never winning more than a fluke defensive battle. He's a fine backup, but you just can't win it all after the Nix injury.
I'm done with the Bo discourse. This guy is our franchise QB and we coast to the SB if he's healthy for that game
@JmoneysteckNFL Are you buying the more up-tempto design people are projecting onto Webb?
I'd personally like something in the 60/40 camp (the 40 being Sean's incredible designs). Where Bo can play in rhythm more and have time pre-snap to break down the D. Like how he's handled that so far.
@FantasyKash@SigmundBloom Appreciate the discourse! I'm trying to learn as much as anything and mostly exercise that trying to stick up for my guy ๐
But even then I think your rankings are super reasonable and not far off from my own!

According to this Bo is higher on EPA/DB (and DB/SR, CPOE, EPA/P)
When CW is ahead Bo is close behind. Where Bo can sometimes be well ahead of CW. Both were elite P2S% in 25, but CW was abysmal in 24.
Both have room to grow and a lot of potential IMO
@FantasyKash@SigmundBloom Splitting Bo and Caleb in different tiers is odd to me ATM. Had very similar metrics last year, Caleb had serious red flag issues with pressure year 1. Caleb had a great run game to aid him last year while Broncos run game is basically Bo throwing screens (which affect his #s)
@maxtoscano1@FantasyKash Over reliance on any particular scheme will be exploitable in time. Disguise/versatility are the most valuable attributes + flexibility at QB is needed for sustainable success.
Joe is as good as it gets in pure drop back, but they would be improved IMO with a more rounded game.
@maxtoscano1@FantasyKash How much fun would you have had watching Belichick bait Manning's "Hard Mode" offense into advantageous looks that crippled their offense year after year in the first dynasty?
@maxtoscano1 The way you're framing it is too B&W. A balanced offensive attack where you can constantly mismatch hunt/disguise intentions because your QB is adaptable is certainly not a weakness. The way most NCAA QBs come into the league with no under center ability is a massive weakness.
@maxtoscano1 What I mean is both Lamar and Josh have grown to such a degree as processors (maybe Lamar always had it and Josh learned it), but when the game gets messy they can alter it now in ways Joe can't due to physical limitations.
@maxtoscano1 You don't think the athleticism of Josh and Lamar being so far above Joe that it mitigates whatever advantage he has reading out the field?
I love Joe, but I think the move capabilities of those 2 are why he's on the bottom of the top 4, if not the top of the 2nd tier.
@FantasyKash This is kind of a stretch. He went 5th in 301 cause Nate is head over heels for Drake and even if I have issues with Mina and Ben sometimes they were pretty glowing regarding JB.
I'm a huge Joe guy, but having him below Pat and Josh is fair ATM and Lamar should have 3 MVPs.
@harveyspectrum2@DasburT_@FB_FilmAnalysis His TWP% was actually quite a bit lower than I expected. But I think using that to excuse his off target/completion % bugaboos is kind of a cop out when Ben doesn't use that for other "inaccurate" QBs.
@DasburT_@FB_FilmAnalysis For me his explosive rate is kind of a high wire act that I don't believe will continue. A lot of turnover worthy plays that didn't become Ints/Fumbles and I don't think his ability to avoid sacks will be sustainable the way he played last season.
There is a lot to like though!
@BenjaminSolak We're really going to stat mine to try and distract from Caleb constantly sailing balls to wide open guys due to bad footwork and pocket management?
I believe he can be a really good QB, but the way you talk about Caleb compared to other young QBs is wild!
@FantasyKash Ben is super entertaining and informative, but it's too funny seeing how the new crop of NFL media folks play whack-a-mole with stats and film to fit their preconceived narratives on THEIR guys.
@FantasyFFData@FantasyPtsData Appreciate the response! Trailing data is from @SumerSports
Bo needs to round his game out to become top 10, but his ability when trailing/back half of 25 gives me hope he will. I just get frustrated with the Caleb double standard from the ESPN folk.
