We sent a powerful message of support to striking staff, highlighted the failure of Adam Tickell to support his staff and students, and sent a strong message to Tickell urging him to support the UCU.

Victory!

On the morning of Sunday the 18th of March, the occupation ended in victory as Balfour Beaty agreed to meet with Unite representatives to discuss their labour practices.

Threatening dog handlers have been hired by Balfour Beatty, and @SussexUni have told us they are opposed to their presence. The handler threatened to let the dog loose on site. Why is Balfour Beatty threatening peaceful occupiers with violence? #NoCapitulation
