@pbl1972 @BarenbrugAUS We went for cocksfoot only in this experiment. The producer sowed at right angles cocksfoot plus phalaris to the lucerne and it also looks good. At another site we have included chicory.

Last year, as part of our #alfalfa pre-breeding effort in #Chile, Viviana Barahona, @iniachile #Cauquenes, worked w/ small-scale farmers in setting up 168 demonstrative plots — from #Valparaíso to #Biobío. Alfalfa is a viable option for farmers facing excess heat & lack of water.
