@ChrisWiegman I couldn't understand at junior job interviews, they asking for these skills like it's the basics. Luckily, I found an amazing employer and dev team, that is giving me enough time to learn these skills. But it's definitely hard for a junior dev!

@chadmccullough Freelancing, helped me build my portfolio. Took me 17 months and 319 job applications, but last Monday I started my career as a full-time web developer. Keep pushing, you will get there!

@LeonNoirSR @tanoaksam You will get there! Keep networking, it was thanks to a referral that I got to be the first to be interviewed and got my job. From stocking shelves in a grocery store to web development now!

@tanoaksam Exactly, I applied for so many jobs. 30 days ago I was thinking that would take me another 1 or 2 years to get a job. This week was my first week as a full-time web developer, working in an amazing company with amazing people! Couldn't be happier! 😁

I get really bored sometimes watching code tutorials. The best way I've found to truly learn something, it's by breaking it and trying to fix it. I always learn way more by researching how to make something work!

@MaruLucenaT I've been living in the USA for a decade now, and it's still hard to express myself sometimes in English. I can think in Portuguese, Spanish and the word in English can't come to my mind lol

@Emeric39958396 Sorry, answering your question. No, I had no experience with programming or web development. But anybody can learn this. Only jump to another subjection, once you completely understand what you are focusing right now. and build projects!!!
