What it was like to lose faith in God. A freeform poem. This is going to be my new pinned comment. I'm going to start posting my poems on booksie now, and I'll put links to all of them in this thread, so they will be easier to find.

Well... I guess I'm actually doing this. Goodbye for now Twitter ππ.
(Also fuck eL0n mnsk, support LGBTQIA+ rights, and love yourself and others)
I'll keep my writing listed in my pinned thread, and I'll keep posting my art on IG
Tomorrow night is when I plan to delete Twitter from my phone and try to stay away from it as long as I can. So I figured I would say goodbye now so I have a chance to see the replies. I hope you all thrive and that the world doesn't collapse. Live and love as well as you can.
@hookskat I suppose it's up to you whether God is the word you would want to use for it. I had a moment today looking at a sunset, and I talked to myself the same way I used to as a xtian and then caught myself doing it. It reminded me of what it was like back then.
While I do think that God as a person is not real, I do think the phenomenon of "God speaking to you" is real but I think it's caused by the intersection of our storytelling minds with the world around us that inspires us. I still have that storytelling interaction with the world
@adanie5 π« I'll try to remember to keep in touch on Instagram, although it's not the best for that imo. I hope Twitter will have an alternative eventually.
@dryapologist Thank you! I think we follow each other on discord, so if I ever come up with any more arguments I might run them by you on there to get your perspective. If that's OK
