[BREAKING NEWS] Prophet Bushiri Claims Deputy National Police Commissioner General Sibiya Was Paid Millions to Make His Fraud Case Go Away
Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has accused General Sibiya of being paid to make his fraud case disappear. Speaking during a live broadcast at his Enlightened Christian Gathering Church Bushiri alleged that senior Hawks officials, including Sibiya, were involved in a network of extortion and corruption.
Bushiri claimed that he and his representatives met General Sibiya on multiple occasions, including at Sibiya’s residence and farm in Silverton, Pretoria. The preacher said, “They told me General Sibiya would handle my case and that if we cooperated, the matter would be stopped. Money was collected in his name.”
He further alleged that his team was told by another officer, Captain Paul, that Sibiya and his superiors could make the case disappear if they received payment. “So much money was collected in the name of these generals who would stop this case,” Bushiri said. “It was corruption after another. Every door we knocked on, they demanded money.”
According to Bushiri, his team later involved the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) to expose the alleged extortion through a sting operation. “We reported the matter to IPID, and they planned to catch them red-handed. But the operation failed because someone at the NPA warned them in advance,” he claimed.
He alleged that after the failed sting, the same officers who were supposed to be investigated came to arrest him. “The next morning, the very people who had taken the money came and arrested me and my wife,” Bushiri said. “Instead of arresting the corrupt officers, they made us the criminals.”
Bushiri said the entire case was politically and financially motivated, claiming that corruption within the police and prosecuting authority made justice impossible. “I still believe in justice, but it cannot exist where corruption leads the system,” he said.
